Every part is produced to a customer drawing with inspection and, where required, dimensional reporting.
Housings are where machining quality becomes visible. The part has to be dimensionally correct inside and cosmetically consistent outside, and the two requirements pull in opposite directions.
How it is held
The exterior is machined first against a datum that will be removed later, then the part is held in a matched fixture for the internal work. That sequence protects the finished surfaces while keeping the mating faces parallel.
Finishing sequence
Bead blasting is applied evenly so the matte texture reads consistently across a batch, and black anodizing follows with masking on any surface that has to stay conductive.
